Oasis at The Fort

The Fort is a 2 storey, 5 bedroom, 5000 sq ft guest house that sits on 1/2 acre of manicured gardens nestled in the countryside and 10 minutes by car to the nearest beach. On the 1st floor you'll find 3 guest rooms, 1 bathroom, dining, kitchen and lounge area, along with a large deck allowing you to enjoy the Caribbean nature that surrounds the property. (Owners on 2nd fl.) We are positioned on a ridge, so there are beautiful scenic views from most of the windows and balconies of the house. The Fort gives our guest a taste of the countryside of Barbados and is situated 5 minutes from the local supermarket, and a variety of other stores and vendors selling homegrown fruits and vegetables along the sides of the road. For those looking to enjoy the night life, we are 15 minutes from St. Lawrence Gap "The Gap", it's a 1.3 km stretch known for it's famous fine restaurants, lively entertainment for all musical tastes and shopping. This is an experience that should not be missed. Guest at The Fort will have access to the entire main floor which is a 2,500 sq. ft. open concept layout. This includes 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a large modern kitchen, spacious living and dinning rooms, shared laundry room, a garage and gated driveway with the capacity for 4 vehicles, a partially covered deck and the exterior of the house with beautifully manicured gardens that wrap completely around the property. The owner always greets the guests and will be available for questions in person or by phone/email. The Fort offers a sense of peace and tranquility and is only minutes away from the famous ‘Gap’ which offers an array of restaurants and nightclubs to suit all genres of music. It is a property that can be enjoyed for all that it offers. The Fort is a one minute walk to the local transit and famous ZR minivans and is also affiliated with 2 car rental agencies that offer a discount to it's guests. The host is also available for personal transportation (Lexus RX350 F Sport) at an extra fee if you feel the need to be driven in luxury.
