Casa Gracie - Gracie's View

Casa Gracie, a beautiful home located on the East end of the island. Ideally, this unit accommodates 2-couples however, we allow a MAX of 6 people. NOTE: After the 4th person there is an additional charge. Bedrooms have window air-condition units, WIFI and a backup APC. It is a 2-br, 2-ba. Deck and garden have outdoor seating area. We have a grill in the viewing deck. Ocean views of Pillsbury Sound, Tortola, St. John. Red Hook is 5-mins. away. A lot of extras in this unit. THE VIEW is fantastic from this unit. The unit is an open-air layout with a charming full kitchen, dining and living area. It has 2-br with window air conditioning units and 2-bathrooms. The sofa in the living room pulls out to a q-size bed. There is a deck with ocean views that is breathtaking. When in season you can grab a mango right off the tree. The gardens are spectacular with lots of tropical flowers. We have an abundance of tropical fruit trees like papaya, mango, sugar apple, tamarinds, guava, bananas and soursop to name a few. You can make yourself a cup of tea with our lemongrass and soursop leaves. We have many different types of birds that visit us daily. The birds feast on the fruit trees; the Wild Green Parakeets visit us every morning and evening, you’ll see the Virgin Island National Bird; Bananaquite and you’ll certainly see lots of hummingbirds making their nectar run. A rental car is a MUST. We are at the very top of a hill that has a breathtaking view, you will need to rent a car as taxis are not as readily available as state side. Note: We live on the property and want everyone to enjoy peace and harmony on their vacation therefore after 11:30pm we except "quite-mellow time" and no loud noises. This home is gated, safe and secure, has enough parking space for your rental car. Red Hook is 5-minutes drive, Lindquist Beach is 10-minutes drive. **You will need to rent a car, taxis are not as readily available as state side. You can use the bbq deck, hammock deck and passion fruit deck, and help yourself to herbs and veggies from the garden. No outside guest or parties allowed. Quiet time after 11:30pm until 6:30am We have a property management team that checks on you regularly, they are very knowledgable of the island and the many activities that make the Virgin Islands an American Paradise. If you need any additional information or want any recommendations on activities and things to do they are your "go-to-person" while staying at Casa Gracie. Lovely, residential area. A few local homes in the area, lots of birds and flowers to enjoy in the area. We are on top of a hill the breeze blows constantly. Very relaxing. You will need a rental car for this location. (it does NOT need a Jeep ) a regular car is fine. Public transportation does NOT go up our hill. The hill is very steep with a lot of curves (no sidewalks). We HIGHLY recommend you have a rental car or set up your transportation needs with a local transport service. We do not provide a list of transport company. The house is at the top of a hill therefore, for your own freedom of movement we highly recommend you rent a car while staying with us. You will have a designated parking space for your ONE (1) rental car. Ideally this unit is set-up for to 2- couples or a family of 5. We allow a max of 6-people in this unit. Additional fee after 4th person. We have internet and cable TV. however, WAPA, our utility company is NOT reliable and at any time the whole island can have a blackout for no reason. We do have a generator as back up and if the power goes off for a lengthy time we will start the generator up for you.
