Warm and welcoming cottage situated across from Silver Harbour Marina, just 15 minutes north of Gimli, 75 minutes north of Winnipeg and within walking distance to beaches, fishing and public docks. Hot tub, fire pit, large deck, air conditioning and peaceful location make this a perfect getaway. The cottage is on a 3/4 acre treed property, with a creek running through the back in a peaceful location. Its a small but comfortable space, The cottage and it's property is exclusively for your use during your booking. We are not hands-on hosts and make every effort to give guests their privacy. We are generally available by phone or text and can usually respond to issues quickly. Silver Harbour is a quiet, retirement and family-oriented community, so we appreciate guests who come to relax. It's a perfect getaway for couples or families. Loud outdoor parties are discouraged. There are many unique experiences in the Interlake: Arnes Farmers Market on weekends is a short bike ride away, Integrity Food's pizza nights on Fridays and Saturdays is worth the drive; the General Store at Hnausa for ice-cream sundaes and Icelandic Fest on August long weekend in Gimli are some of the highlights of this area. Walking distance to Silver Harbour marina, beaches, fishing pier and public docks. There is a very small convenience store a mile away, or 5 minutes drive north is the quaint Hnassau General Store with basic necessities and snack foods, or 15 minutes south is Gimli, with major grocery stores and shopping. Winnipeg is a 75 minute drive from the cottage.
