The Garden Bed Room

The room is 16' x 20'. Private with a separate entrance. Queen size bed, desk, chairs and table and a 42" TV screen to project mobile viewing on. The TV monitor works with whatever digital equipment a guest brings with them. Bath, kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator and breakfast nook (shared with one other house guest). 30 minute train ride to Manhattan. It is garden level on beautiful grounds; just steps away from a nature preserve. You will find a lovely and quiet location on an acre of property 35 minute train ride from mid-town Manhattan. There is a private entrance to the Guest Room. It is spacious and includes a queen size bed, two closets, dresser, chairs, glass table and desk. The view is to the garden. Plenty of light with a western exposure. Guests will have access to the terrace, patio, gardens and grounds. We respect the privacy of our guests. For the comfort of our guests any request to invite a visitor to our home must be discussed with, and permission obtained, from your host beforehand. There are no exceptions. Great location for viewing Fall foliage; good running trails. Steps away from nature preserve. Local shops and restaurants to enjoy. Westchester golf courses, wineries and vineyards are an easy drive in the Hudson Valley region and in some cases featuring spectacular views of the Hudson River. Early morning and evening bus to the train (7 minute bus ride), or walk to train station. Train to Manhattan 35-40 minutes.
