Doe Island is 3.8 acres and primarily in a natural, undisturbed state. It sits on the SW side of Quadra Island in quiet Gowlland Bay. The property boasts some towering majestic old growth fir and cedar trees, beautiful Arbutus, mossy bluffs and a diverse shoreline. Doe Island South is a perfect little island retreat featuring an off grid oceanfront house with its own floating dock. The island is accessible by boat only. Boat transportation negotiable dependant on availability. Guests have access to the entire South side of Doe Island which includes your own private dock, picnic area, fire pit, private beach area and sweeping views from the deck. Your host is a short 15 minute boat ride away if you need anything. We are easily reached by phone. Doe Island is a spectacular secluded oceanfront property. Your neighbours include local seals, porpoise, eagles, and otters. The island is privately owned and only has are two cabins on it Guests are recommend to park at discovery marina in Campbell river were they can get a water taxi or launch their Owen boat at the discovery boat launch located on spit road beside discover marina. Their is payed parking at both locations Bring your swimsuit and snorkel paddle board or kayak and fishing rods. You can catch crab right from your Owen dock and the host is happy to preview you with a trap.
