Our beachfront house with a unique open-air design an abundance of natural light provides memorable views of the ocean and surrounding rainforests. We look forward to welcoming you to our little tropical paradise! The guests have an access to cozy furnished open-air common space and equipped kitchen. Surfboard rentals and oceanfront bar-restaurant "Punto de Encuentro" are located downstairs. We are available for our guests as much, or as little, as they like. We will welcome you during check-in and attend to any questions or requests you may have throughout your stay. Our place is located in the heart of Mompiche, next to the beach where you can witness an everyday cycle of the village life and buy a fresh fish straight from the boat. Mompiche is a beautiful, tropical fishing village located in Ecuador´s lush coastal providence of Esmeraldas. Numerous restaurants, bars, and stores can be easily accessed via a maximum 5-minute walk. Apart from being a great place to relax, the village has many to offer: world-class waves for surfers, whale watching, florescent plankton and another wildlife spotting in nearby jungles of Mache-Chindul Ecological Reserve. Public buses are the cheapest way to travel to and from Mompiche. They stop at the main street, one street away. The last direct bus from Esmeraldas terminal to Mompiche leaves at 4:30pm. The last direct bus from Atacames terminal to Mompiche leaves at 4pm. There is no ATM and payment by credit/debit cards is not possible in Mompiche. It is advised to bring enough cash and small change to cover your expenses. Bills larger than $20 are NOT accepted in Mompiche.
