J&B's Tree House is newly and lovingly renovated inside and out, and available to book now! Whether dining on the front deck surrounded by black oaks, grey squirrels, blue jays, and ponderosa pines, soaking in the brand new luxurious jacuzzi at sunset on the rear deck, or lounging in front of the wood-burning fireplace in the open-concept living room, J&B's Tree House is a special place to get away from the frantic pace of city life. Enjoy a game of pool in the downstairs rec room. Watch a film on Netflix as you cuddle up on the couch. Play a game of Scrabble at the large wooden dining table. Take a short walk to the National Forest. Sleep in late with the help of our blackout curtains. Owners have a few locked closets for storage. We personally manage our cabin, and are available via text, phone, or email to answer any questions you might have that may not be found in our thoughtfully-designed welcome book. Nestled in ancient ponderosa pines, J&B's Tree House sits in a quiet, shaded neighborhood of Idyllwild called Pine Cove. The National Forest is a short 8 minute walk down our dead-end street, with overwhelmingly beautiful views out toward Riverside and Diamond Valley Lake. J&B's Tree House is a quick 6 minute drive from both downtown Idyllwild and the Idyllwild Nature Center, conveniently close while being out of the bustle. A perfect balance. Hiking trails abound in the area. And if you are craving the excitement of the "city life," Palm Springs is a quick 45 minute drive down the mountain. Guests are invited to park in our large lower drive, set just off the main road with ample parking for up to three vehicles. -You must be comfortable climbing normal grade stairs. The cabin is two stories. There is also a staircase from driveway to front door (as seen in picture #1). -We offer complimentary Netflix and Pandora on our 50" Smart TV. You are also welcome to log into your personal Hulu, Disney+, Amazon Prime, etc account. We do not offer cable TV. -We allow well behaved dogs to stay at our cabin with a one time fee of $25 per dog. We have installed a large fully fenced dog run on the property that fully connects with the front entrance of the cabin. Please let us know if you plan on bringing your furry friends at time of booking. -Like most cabins in Idyllwild we do not have AC. On most warm days the evenings cool down. You may opt to use our portable window fans in the evenings.
