One mile walk to canoe and kayak company, art studios, fitness and wellness center, farms, Saxapahaw General Store, The Eddy Pub, Cup 22 coffee shop, the Haw River Ballroom, Haw River Farmhouse Ales, and other local activities. Tea kettle, coffee maker, full kitchen, television/stereo in common area. We live on the property and have a 4 room B&B about 600' feet from the cottage. Very private. Saxapahaw is receiving lots of attention both locally and nationally as being a place where rural restoration, the local food movement, family-owned and operated business, the arts, and a sense of community all come together to create a rather special place. We are located about 45 minutes from both Piedmont Triad and Raleigh-Durham airports. Most of the village attractions are centered in the restored mill, which is one mile from the Inn.
