Air-conditioning is available on request for an extra $25 per day in the lounge and three bedrooms. The home is private, fully fenced, sheltered and set well back from the main road in a large private garden setting and ideal for a large family or up to three couples. You can drive your car right up to the house and park it out of the sun under the carport, at the rear of the house. The deck adjoins a large 7m x 3.5m decked pool for the family to enjoy all year round. There is a BBQ and outdoor dining table on the deck, 45” Plasma TV as well as docking station/speakers for your iPhone and your music options. Location ‘Tukaka Villa’ is approximately 10km or 12 mins from Avarua the main township on the Island. From the airport it is less than 20 mins drive in a clockwise direction. ‘Tukaka Villa’ is about 3 km (5 mins) from Muri Beach which is considered one of the best lagoons on the island. It is safe for children and is a great place to spend most of your beach time. Air New Zealand, Virgin and Jetstar fly from Auckland. There are daily flights between New Zealand and also others from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Los Angeles. As the Cook Islands is just over the International Dateline from New Zealand and a lot of the flights arrive very early in the morning it is easy to mistake the day of arrival.
