A mere 5 minutes away is the historic little town of Speightstown – with the most delightful and casual restaurants tempting visitors with their authentic Caribbean cuisine and sea vistas. Don’t forget to check out the Gallery of Caribbean Art and Arlington House - a 'must-see' interactive museum with audio-visual features of 'Old Barbados'. Lush gardens usher you through a gateway opening onto the pool deck with a gorgeous view of the sea. The shimmering pool is surrounded by sun loungers with a trickling water feature in tune with the soothing sounds of washing waves. Loungers can be taken down to the seashore through the private direct access to the beach. Serene, crystal waters beckon you to swim, snorkel, and take advantage of water sport activities. Gibbes Beach meets Mullins Beach to the north allowing for romantic strolls or brisk walks. For entertainment, the comfortable living room on the ground floor is outfitted with a flat-screen television, complete with cable. This area opens onto the expansive patio – just the spot for sipping cocktails while admiring a superb sunset. The kitchen’s large window opens outwards to the dining area, making it convenient to serve meals, snacks, and refreshing beverages throughout the day. Even partake of a scrumptious meal on the pool deck al fresco - prepared by the villa’s chef. The bedrooms - which have outdoor patios, air-conditioning, and en-suite bathrooms – are all located on the first floor except for one situated on the ground level. The master – also equipped with cable television - and 2nd bedroom suite share a balcony overlooking a magnificent view of Gibbes Bay. The smaller balconies of the third and fourth bedrooms offer lovely views of the garden. The villa can accommodate valuables in its two safes. This tropical haven offers you privacy, peace, and everything you need to relax. The rental includes the services of a chef and a housekeeper service. Please note the cost of groceries is not included in the price. However, we can arrange to have your initial groceries delivered to the property for your arrival. This would be payable directly to our local house managers. ​This property rental DOES NOT permit the use of Riemann P20 Sunscreen, as it damages towels and fabrics. Smoking not permitted indoors. This is a beachfront holiday rental. It should be noted that beaches change their shape and size from day to day, week to week, and month to month, mainly as a response to seasonal waves, currents, and tides. Every effort has been made to depict the beach in front of this property, but temporary changes may occur. This property has been approved for quarantine which is required for all unvaccinated travellers to Barbados. There is a 6-7 day quarantine period pending return of test results after testing on Day 5. Security services costs are US$230 per day. Please note the levels of quarantine and/or curfews in place are not one of the criteria. The Covid-19 policy is only applicable in the event that: 1. The Barbados Government refuses passenger entry based on their origin (whether by residence, recent travel to a particular destination or based on flight origin). 2. A Foreign government issues a specific travel ban to or from Barbados that prevents a guest from travelling. 3. A level 4 CDC Warning or Foreign Commonwealth Office (FCO) Advisory against Barbados must exist. Please note your own travel/trip insurance is still required to cover all other kinds of cancellation including if you or a member of your group tests positive for Covid-19 before or during your trip. Tropical Island Rentals, the local house managers and the owners of the properties will not be responsible for any costs relating to the testing of guests while on the island. Refunds will not be applicable to anyone testing positive for COVID-19, which will result in them and their party not being able to travel or not able to continue to stay at the property booked if a positive test result is received in Barbados.
