Welcome to our ancestral home, an 1881 Registered Historic Property, in the quaint village of Granville Ferry overlooking the historic Town of Annapolis Royal. Enjoy a piece of history with all of the modern amenities to make your stay both comfortable and memorable. Begin each day with a delicious gourmet two course breakfast and end each day at our riverfront gazebo on the picturesque tidal Annapolis River. Remember, "You always have a room with a view" at A Seafaring Maiden Bed & Breakfast. The Bessie includes a king size bed, armoire, 2 bedside night stands & dresser. This accommodation includes a private 3 piece bath offering the use of luxurious ‘signature’ bath robes. We invite you to enjoy the spectacular views of the Annapolis River. Bill and Ann Marie Monk have always shared the dream of owning and lovingly restoring an old and historic home. Through ancestral research done by her mother, Ann Marie, great-great grand daughter to Captain Joseph Hall, discovered his home now known as The Seafaring Maiden bringing it back into the family in 2003 where it will remain for future generations. Bill, having completed a successful 31 year career in retail, business management, and customer service brings that expertise to the owning and operating of this Bed & Breakfast. Both Bill and Ann Marie are well known by guests as welcoming hosts and look forward to inviting you into their home. Located in the quiet quaint village of Granville Ferry, this Registered Heritage Property provides modern amenities in a 'true to the period' Victorian setting with water side seating overlooking the tidal Annapolis River Basin and the historic Town of Annapolis Royal; as well, close to scenic historic sites and engaging outdoor activities in "The Cradle of Our Nation" of Canada.
