A private, cozy, and clean garden Guest Home located in the heart of Harlingen! Close to downtown historic Jackson Street, and just minutes from the airport, you'll soon be immersed in the lush tropical surroundings of the Rio Grande Valley! Wake to the calls of exotic chachalacas, and catch a glimpse of wild parrots. Feel free to pick fresh Ruby Red grapefruits in our backyard grove. Take a dip on nearby South Padre Island, and dine on authentic Mexican cuisine found on nearly every corner! This amazing guest home is behind and separate from our home, so we'll be close by if you need anything, just ask! Enjoy a King size bed that is very comfy with a nightstand and reading lamp on one side. It's a very vibrant space with a 32" Smart TV and free wi-fi for your entertainment. The room also features a coffeemaker, iron, ironing board, a/c, fridge, and microwave oven. The bathroom features a hair dryer, first aid kit, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. Feel free to stroll and pick any ripe fruit growing in the back yard. You can use the outdoor BBQ grill with owner permission, and have a picnic on the lawn or outdoor table. You can park along the street in front of the main house and walk to your Guest House through the gate on the West (right) side of the main house. The gate features a yard lock that opens with a provided code. After passing through the gate, continue along the tropical garden path to the front door of the guest home. The front door features an August Smart lock, which allows key less entry, so that you never lose your keys! Your space is entirely private and separate from the main house. Your space is separate from the main house, so you may not see us at all! However, we will be available for anything you need with a quick call or text message. We are also happy to act as your concierge to the area and provide you with any recommendations for restaurants, entertainment, or anything else you have in mind. This is a safe and friendly residential neighborhood. It features plenty of mature Oak Trees and beautiful birds! Uber & Lyft are available here, as well as the Valley Metro bus route that has a stop at the nearby library. The Valley Int'l Airport is about a mile away and has daily nonstop flights to Houston & Dallas. We are excited to host you in your travels.
