We cannot enter you apartment if you bolt the front door and latch the back door. We will not enter your apartment unless asked. # You can use the washer/dryer with comp. washer liquid soap. Our guests value their privacy and usually come with an agenda of places/people to see. We meet and greet them, tell them where all the switches are and leave them alone. We live upstairs in a separate residence that they can call/text anytime. # 6 blocks from the Ohio River, Maiden Alley Art House Cinema, Market House Regional Community Theatre, River Discovery Center, William Clarke Market House Museum, Yeiser Art Center, Art Guild of Paducah... # Lower Town and Downtown family restaurants, museums and shops from one block away to the Riverfront. # 6 blocks away from annual BBQ on the River Festival and Porkstock Concert. # Downtown Farmer’s Market, concerts and horse-drawn carriage rides. # 4 blocks to National Quilt Museum. # You are in the middle of the Lower Town Historic District. Bring sun-block and bug spray. # Public Bus Station one block away, down our back alley to the Station. # Personal off-street parking access from North 8th street alley, next to entrance to our back yard, Koi pond and your main entrance to the apartment. #Paducah Airport is 20 minutes away. # United flies from Chicago direct to Paducah; two round trips daily. # Rental Car available at the airport (book in advance) # A cab is available by phone (call before you land in Paducah). # Bicycle rental from Bike World, 15 min. away by car or Hoopers on Broadway, 5 blocks away. # The Paducah School of Art & Design is a block away, down two back alleys. # The National Quilt Museum is 4 blocks away and a 10 minute walk. # Paducah is where the Tennessee and the Ohio Rivers meet. 7 blocks away are the rivers and constant activity of the towboats moving barges 24/7 # Land Between the Lakes National Park & Planetarium is about an hour away. # Metropolis, Illinois home of (yes) the Annual Superman Festival and a Harrah's Casino is just across the Ohio River about 20 minutes away. # Downtown restaurants, museums and shops are 4-6 blocks away. # Etcetera Coffeehouse is one block away. # Café de Fee is 1/2 block away for brunch and dinner and drinks.
