Room in the heart of Port Carling, Muskoka

Our home is in the heart of Port Carling, Muskoka! The lake is a 5 minute walk with a public beach, boat launch and park. Downtown is also a short walk to all kinds of unique shops, the library, pharmacy, restaurants, LCBO. Foodland is a 5 minute drive. Our backyard is available to enjoy as well as a fire pit, so feel free to have some camp fires and relax under a blanket of stars. Looking to book 2 rooms? Your private bedroom with 10ft high ceilings is situated in the front of the house and the bathroom right next door to you. Kitchen would be shared as well as the bathroom IF the other room is rented during your stay :) Note, the bedroom does not have a window. But the space is set up to be very visually appealing with lots of unique artistic touches and plant life. Plus, you are welcome to enjoy the back patio area. In the kitchen, you are welcome to use all appliances. Coffee is provided. You have space to store food in the fridge and a cupboard to put dry goods if need be. The neighbourhood is very quiet in the winter months, and town gets busy June-Aug. Once in Port Carling you can walk all over town, to the park and also to the lake, lots of shops. Hanna Park beach is a 5 minute walk- a great place to stroll, have a picnic or dip into the water! We do have 2 super friendly husky dogs, but they will be in our space, not yours and normally tied out back if you wanted to say hi :) The eager greyish husky is Atchy and the older talkative one is Atlas !
