Sunnies Calif Patio-Bedroom, Glamping Experience!

Bright and airy, cheerful bedroom space outside on a private hillside backyard patio; retreat to nature while maintaining all the cozy comforts of luxury. The term we’ve been told, is “GLAMPING”! Unique California venue, attached to the back of the stucco house, outside on a wildlife inhabited hillside, while at the same time safely enclosed by vinyl lattice to keep the wild critters out. There is natural positional privacy from all three neighboring properties; It’s a big step UP from camping as the bed is very comfortable... although you ARE sleeping outside, despite weather conditions... please plan accordingly ;-). The heat and AC are inside the house only. We cannot control the temperature outside on the patio (the sleeping area). WE MUST ALL BE RESPONSIBLE WITH SENSIBLE PANDEMIC PRECAUTIONS AND SHARE NIGHTLY DISINFECTION DUTIES. Access available to typical common areas of the house including the fully accessorized kitchen and bathroom (through the front door), and a lovely yard, for your use and optional relaxation. The hammock will be made available by your advanced request at time of booking We love to interact with our guests when it is mutually desirable, a breakfast or evening glass of wine is a nice way to connect should we mutually desire that. We invite our guests to join us out to our favorite downtown cafe or to Riversides monthly event “ArtsWalk”. We often make suggestions for local places of interest including unique places, and have maps if you need them. There is a good possibility that you may pass other wonderful guests, from all around the world, in the common areas of the house, such as the kitchen, or on the way in or (Website hidden by Airbnb) friendly! It’s part of this awesome journey we are all on, to meet others, be kind, and share experiences! Most of the year it’s lovely here and warmer than most other places in winter. Great wildlife and birds, outstanding views. Peaceful walking, hiking trails all around. It’s a university town with local cultural events going on the campus and downtown all the time. Only one hour from beaches, the mountains, desert scenery, LA or San Diego! Dry climate makes the crazy hot summers bearable because it’s not humid and sweaty, and besides the temperature drops after sunset bringing great relief most evenings! Closest airport is Ontario International (25 minutes). Metrolink and Amtrak trains are about 10 min away in downtown Riverside. UBER and Lyft are readily available. RTA is the city bus system - Students ride free ! You can bicycle; or rent the BIRDS (scooters) that are all over around the campus and downtown areas (unless restricted during a pandemic :-( * * 13% City Occupancy Tax (required by Riverside City) must be collected from Guest by Host on or before day one. * Picnic table in your space... feel free to ask us to sit out with you for a joint candle-lit outside meal! Also available are small barbecues, an ice-cooler, lounge chairs, as well as Bocce ball, horse shoes * camp-fire pit (Only when permitted by local fire Dept officials-must arrange well in advance to allow time to apply for the permit; not EVER during dry summer seasons of course). *** Strict House Rules: NO SMOKING NO GLITTER NO PERSONS UNDER AGE 21 unless accompanied by a parent. Curfew - no entry/exit between midnight and 6 am.
