Affordable Room in Beachfront Home: Best Location

Enjoy beachfront accommodation AFFORDABLY. This clean, private room sits on the side of a beach-front home in remote, beautiful Zancudo. There is a full bathroom that is SHARED with another small room. Wifi in the room. LOCATION is everything: we are centrally-located, so you can walk to stores (10 minutes), restaurant/bar (100 m/yards away). Your room is just steps from the safe, swimmable and fishable waters of the Golfo Dulce. Here the beach is flat, and 6 miles long: perfect for beach walks. Your room is one of 3 spaces that I offer guests. Two rooms share an external bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. The other is an apartment with kitchen and private bath. The owners have their residence upstairs, but we run the restaurant next door for part of the year, so we are only upstairs to sleep and shower (and only from October through February). The room is fully screened, with overhead fan and small desk and stools for work-space. Feel free to use the breezy restaurant/bar nearby, if you want a workspace with a view. When selecting accommodation, realize that location affects many things: too far north, there are no waves, and much less breeze (making it hotter) - we have daily breezes, so A/C not required; too far south, and the waves are so strong that you cannot swim, unless you are an expert surfer. We have medium-sized waves out front, where you can enjoy wave-playing without rip-tides or crashing surf. You can swim for exercise just past the breakers - especially good in the morning. We are central: other locations are so remote that it's 30+ minutes walk to the nearest store or restaurant/bar. Here, you can choose to be social or not.. Enjoy your privacy, but if you need anything, there is always staff on-site [from 8 am to 6 pm (often later)] at the popular restaurant/bar/cabinas about 100 m/yards away. The popular Restaurant/Bar/Cabinas Sol y Mar is next-door to serve our famously delicious food and/or ice-cold drinks. Sports on TV can be shown if available. Your room is private, but conveniently located if you wish to socialize. There is a small troupe of howler monkeys right across the road, and we are occasionally visited by white-faced and squirrel monkeys, sloths, anteaters, various bird species. There is one bus into town (arrives 5:30 pm daily), and one bus going out of town (5:45 am daily). it will pickup or drop-off right on the road beside your accommodation
