Ocean Side Bungalow

Ocean Side Bungalow Temae is a newly constructed self contained private beach bungalow with access to your own beach from the main house garden property over looking the ocean and sounds of the waves. Features breakfast (local fruit, toast, jam, juice, tea and local fresh coffee), queen size bed, WiFi, fully equipped kitchenette, a deck with a view of the ocean/beach, access to 2 bicycles, snorkeling gear, plus a private open air outdoor bathroom with a rain shower head. I am a Super Host who is bilingual in french and english who lives and work in Moorea, the French Polynesia. It would be my pleasure to of service to help suggest day trips or assist you with planning your vacation needs while in Moorea. I would love to share my knowledge of my home - this gem of an island we call Moorea – with you. Ideally situated, Ocean Side Bungalow Temae is 1.86 miles/ 3 km‘s from the Moorea Airport and 3.1 miles/ 5 km‘s from the Moorea Ferry Terminal. A taxi from the airport or Ferry Terminal is about 25.00 USA dollars. Should you wish to explore the island of Moorea which is 38.5 miles / 62 km‘s, I would recommended to rent a scooter or vehicle as bus transportation is extremely unreliable as there is no set schedule. I offer free parking for those those who wish to rent a scooter or vehicle, and would be more than happy to help you arrange your vehicle or activty needs such as Humpback Whale Watching (August – end of November), diving, golfing, hiking, deep sea fishing, quad ATV tours, jet skiing, paddling, kayaking or whatever you desire to do while on vacation. Although you may feel secluded from the world here, the beach is approximately 75 feet away (23 meters) which boasts great snorkeling. For those who wish to golf, The Moorea Green Pearl Golf Course Polynesia is .6 miles/ 1 km away and next door is a small convenience store and a restaurant/bar open year round. The largest town on the island is Maharepa which is approximately 5 miles/ 8 km‘s away and is easily accessible by bicycle (approximately a 25 minute easy, flat bike ride one way) should you not have access to a scooter or car. You can also spend time at Temae's famous main public sandy beach which is an easy, flat, 5 minute bike ride or 15 minute walk. This beach is known for it‘s sandy beach and view of Hotel Sofitel featuring the world famous French Polynesian Over the Water Lagoon Huts. In 1963, three Californian business men designed the first French Polynesian Over the Water Lagoon Huts in Moorea. Today, they are world famous for their over the water lagoon design – especially in Moorea and Bora Bora.
