Waiting for the weather to cooperate with your plans? There's full access to: - Wifi, cable TV and Netflix - An assortment of kids puzzles and toys - Games for the family We live upstairs and our children do not know how to sleep in. Early morning starts are normal and to be expected. Full use of the mudroom/storage room to keep your beloved sporting equipment inside and at room temperature. Access to the shared laundry facilities. We live upstairs and are readily available for questions or help. You can call/text us or knock on the front door. We do have a couple of young and energetic kids. Moderate levels of shenanigans are to be expected in the mornings. Welcome to Hinton! We're a town small enough to feel like everyone knows each other but large enough to have 2 Tim Hortons and 2 Starbucks locations. We are located within a 15 min drive to William A. Switzer Provincial Park and Jasper National Park Gates (not to be confused with the acutal town of Jasper). The town of Jasper is a beautiful 50 minutes drive from Hinton. Bring your skis/snowboards! 1.5 hrs drive away is Marmot Basin for all those who love to shred in a relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere. The Hinton Nordic Centre is also a 15 minute drive from town. Within the town, we are a 2 min bike ride to the Hinton Bike Park. 1 block away you'll find our trail systems where a short 5-10 min walk will bring you to the Beaver Boardwalk. Getting around is difficult without an automobile. There is public transportation within the town but the service is much like the living here; slower. Sundog Tours do offer shuttle services between Edmonton to Jasper, with stops in Edson and Hinton. Groceries and essentials can either be found at the Parks West Mall (Safeway, Walmart, Starbucks) or at the Freson Brothers and Shoppers Drug.
