Note: One additional den/bedroom downstairs with a comfortable Queen pull out bed at an EXTRA FEE- you must request this additional room at the time of booking- it’s on a “case by case” basis and an extra fee. There are no black out shades in this room, it’s a proper private office and not ideal for a bedroom, but there is a sofa bed. *This bottom bedroom is made up upon request for larger families only. Quiet and tranquil neighborhood, three minutes to Malibu and the Pacific Ocean! Excellent for a writer, actor, or busy CEO. Bring the family and enjoy soaking up the fun and sun in one of the most coveted Southern California neighborhoods. This is the reason many celebrities live close by. Dustin, Bennifer, Meryl, and Reese... All live in the immediate area. ** Quiet time after dark- no loud noise at any time of the day in this Very quiet neighborhood. If your family tends to be loud, boisterous, argumentative, crying babies etc. We are not a good fit, so sorry! **Please note- any noise disturbances will result in loss of security deposit. Thanks!!!! Note: Non Barking Dogs are strictly on a case by case basis, with a separate cleaning fee. We can discuss pooches when you inquire :-) There is a $400 pet deposit due before check in. Infants/Toddlers/Little People: We have a very dramatic and high staircase ( pictured ) with approximately 20 steps. This staircase is not Baby Proofed and we do not have a baby gate. I would not consider our custom furniture and furnishings "kid friendly" . Not the house for unattended crayons, glitter, stickers, etc. This is more of a retreat for adults with older, quiet children. Entire home, minus the Master Closet and our basement closet. Bottom Office remains locked unless a party of 10 or more book this extra 5th bedroom at the higher price that needs to be determined before booking. No garage access. Plenty of safe street parking in front of home on both sides of the street. Also- Access to The beautiful backyard and BBQ area. *Note: Important to note: The driveway is only for small cars ( Prius size ) that fit when pulled up close to garage door. If the bumper sticks out even one inch into the sidewalk, the city of Palisades will ticket you $65. Plenty of free street parking :-) Please inform all drivers of this pesky fact.... Family friendly, quiet and quaint. Walking to local Italian restaurants, bars, hiking trails and the beach. This is a true village by the beach. Need a blow dry and a quick manicure? We have a spot right on the corner. Quick bottle of wine? Ronny's liquor store is right on the corner as well. They make amazing burgers and breakfast burritos! A local favorite for all the Palisade's families who need a quick grab and go! You can walk to a wonderful dinner at Vittorio's - again, four doors down, turn right and there you are! Vittorio's delivers - just give them a call! There is a bus line on Sunset, and UBER all over. The train/metro station is 10 minutes away. Exterior Front Door Camera is on for everyone’s protection. Disabling or covering or turning the front door camera is $ (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) fine and immediate dismissal from the property. No refunds given. If you don’t want to stay at a home with an exterior camera at the front door, we aren’t the property for you. This home isn't ideal for big parties or filming. Please check with hostess. We are flexible within reason, just be honest about what you are wanting to do, so we can see if an extra fee applies. I have a babysitter, bartender, massage therapist, esthetician, and housekeeper on my staff. I can leave a list of their contact information at check in. Parking in the driveway can result and often does- in a $65 ticket from the city. Please only park small vehicles like a Prius and pull all the way up. Bumper cannot stick out at all into the sidewalk. Keep backyard noise and music within reason, this is a "family" neighborhood, and my neighbors tend to be on the conservative side. If you wouldn't do it at your Mom's house, don't attempt it here :-) Quiet time is after dark in the backyard. Thanks!!! Regarding Noises: We cannot control area noise. Discounts or refunds will not be given for the following noises. Pacific Palisades is a bustling area, and there is always a lot of activity going on. We are located near Sunset Boulevard and in a prime neighborhood. We cannot be held responsible for the following: 1. Street Noise from Sunset Blvd 2. Construction noise from various home building in our vicinity. Always a project going up or coming down in Palisades! 3. Trash collection trucks 4. Children’s voices 5. Neighbors in their adjacent yards, front, back and sides… 6. Owls, and vocal birds, AM and PM 7. Coyotes and other dogs at night/daytime 8. Gardners and their various tools, like leaf blowers and mowers. Happens daily around here, sorry :-) Please visit our area with an open mind and open heart.
