This light and spacious four bedroom Catskill Mountains retreat was thoughtfully renovated in 2020 by the 2nd generation owners to maintain the original character of the chalet, and adding modern designer elements and amenities, as well as smart features. Just want to stay home? There is no need to leave the property. Read a book on the comfortable deck furniture, drink your morning coffee while wading through the stream. Indulge your inner chef by shopping the local farm stands and create your own farm-to-table dinner in the fully equipped kitchen or cook dinner on the barbeque and dine al fresco on the expansive back deck. Central air conditioning is available for warm days but the cool mountain air at night will draw you to the outdoor firepit and adirondack chairs. Listen to music on the Marshall bluetooth speaker, spin some vinyl, or curl up for a Netflix movie in front of the big stone fireplace. Home Sweet Hudson works with local third-party vendors who can provide some great add-on features to your stay, paid directly to the vendors: - Private yoga class - In home private chef - Private massage session - Wine tastings Located in Pine Hill on the border of Big Indian, the Alpine House is a fabulous retreat that is convenient to amazing local restaurants, a distillery, brewery, farmers market, antique shops, Belleayre Beach swimming lake, Belleayre mountain for winter skiing or summer gondola rides and numerous local hiking trails. One of the owners continues to call the Pine Hill area home and resides next door on a neighboring property. If shopping is your thing, spend the day exploring the nearby towns of Phoenicia and Margaretville, or take a short drive to Woodstock or Andes. Or just pamper yourself at the nearby Emerson Spa. The Alpine house has 4 bedrooms: Bedroom 1: King sized bed with private balcony (first floor) Bedroom 2: King sized bed with deck access Bedroom 3: Queen sized bed (first floor) Bedroom 4: Twin sized beds (3) BATHROOMS: There are two full bathrooms, one with a tub, and toiletries from Public Goods available for your convenience. KITCHEN: The large eat-in kitchen with gas stove and stainless appliances has all that is needed for gourmet meals. Enjoy dinners, brunches and lunches around the large oak dining table that seats 8-10 comfortably. There’s also multiple ways to make coffee and tea. OUTDOOR SPACE: The expansive back deck runs the length of the house. There is a firepit surrounded by a large flat yard, leading to 2 streams. Keep a look out for the various wildlife! PLEASE KEEP IN MIND: *Ticks/bugs are a regular part of Upstate NY. Tick prevention sprays for yards are very toxic to animals and pets, so we do not use them. Please be mindful of checking yourself when spending time outside.* *This house does NOT currently have a back-up generator.*
