Joffre Creek Cabins are on 3.5 acres of pristine forest & are surrounded by crown land on 3 sides. Only an 18 min drive from the village of Pemberton, when you are here you're the perfect mix of close and far. The paralyzingly beautiful, and world-famous, Joffre Lakes are only a 12 min drive away, and their creek roars down next to the cabin. With all the area has to offer, you can easily fill your days; however, once you're here, your plans might just get lost in a cup of coffee on the deck. At 800 ft2, this little log cabin is not so little. Nestled away from all lines of sight, guests here are able to enjoy the panoramic forest & the sound of the roaring Joffre Creek in complete privacy. The south facing deck gets bathed in dappled light all day, and is the perfect place to read a book with a cup of coffee in an Adirondack chair. Our back deck is a delight for photographers & relaxers alike, and features an idyllic wood burning fire pit (in season). It's almost enough to make you wish you could stop time in place. Our latest addition to this space is a popular one! We're so excited to now offer a private and pristine cedar barrel sauna for your exclusive use. It has an enormous viewing window on the back wall that looks out into a cedar- and moss- filled mountainside. We are certain that a more relaxing & rejuvenating space will be hard to find! Another gem is its neighbouring gazebo for your exclusive use - it's actually more of an 'outdoor living room'. Under a ceiling that is lined with over 300 ft of fairy lights, it is a guarantee that your al fresco dinner, or nightcap, will be one of your most memorable. Here is where you can tell stories around the propane firepit (fuel included) and have a no-holds-barred marshmallow roasting competition. May the best person win! The indoor space boasts a sparkling & complete kitchen and bath, mid-century modern touches, a video library, Crosley record player, and picture-perfect wood burning stove (some wood included) This Little Cabin was just ranked as BCs top airbnb by @curiousityvancouver; however we look forward to you joining us in person to see what you think :) Guests enjoy a picture perfect 800 square foot log cabin that features a private screened gazebo, private sauna, seasonal fire pit, and BBQ. Privacy & solitude are guaranteed, and guests will never be interrupted. When snowing in winter, we may request that guests park down below after dropping off their coolers/suitcases for peace of mind on the steep driveway. This will yield a one minute walk to your car. We live 150 m away in the larger log cabin (also for rent; 3 night min), and are available to meet any request in a heartbeat, either in person or via email. Unless you reach out for help or advice, we leave you to enjoy your privacy. We are located just outside the paradise of Pemberton - 'Pemberdise' to the locals. This area is being lauded as one of the hottest vacation destinations in the province. With its proximity to Whistler, yet sitting on the edge of pristine, remote and often undiscovered gems, this area has something for everyone. At 18 mins from the village of Pemberton itself, our cabins are located at the very bottom of 'The Duffy': a winding, jaw-droppingly gorgeous highway with majestic views that connects Pemberton to Lillooet. There are no rental accommodations closer to everything the Duffy has to offer (including the world famous Joffre Lakes). In addition, we are located almost at the head of the In-SHUCK-ch Forest Service Road, a bumpy, thrilling road that will lead you to beautiful beaches, lakes, and even hot springs! To get here, enjoy the majestic views along the Sea To Sky Highway - rated as one of the Top 10 drives in the world by Conde Naste & National Geographic. Due to our remote location, having a car is a must. Please note that the province of BC requires snow-tires (not all-season) from Oct.1-Mar.31 *we are very dog-friendly! However, even though we love them, we are unable to host cats due to allergies. *use sauna at your own risk and consult a doctor beforehand if pregnant or with a medical condition. *water can only be poured over sauna rocks from spring-fall, not in freezing conditions. Un-evaporated water may freeze, expand, and crack the heating unit. *when climbing into the loft, always face the ladder & have three points of contact at all times. *all decking and stairs are wood & become slippery when wet, and may provide splinters. Please wear shoes & don't run. *indoor & outdoor fires only permitted in accordance with Provincial fire season. When permitted we provide 12-15 pieces of wood per night of your stay and more can be bought at gas stations or the Rona in Pemberton. *we have a 3-night minimum during bank holidays (statutory long weekends) *our driveway enters off the road, so occasional vehicle traffic will be heard.
