The "Serendipity Room" is very calming, you will instantly feel a sense of peace as soon as you open the door. There is a very comfortable queen size Wrought Iron bed dressed with 1200 count cotton sheets, lots of pillows, and a cozy down comforter. There is as an electric fireplace to light up or turn on a little extra heat. (There is hot water heating though throughout the house.) Perfect to cozy up and read a book or just unwind! A desk and chair for you to work at , with a charging station/LED light is provided. Complimentary Turkish robes and slippers are in the room for you to use for that perfect spa feel. Enjoy complimentary WIFI, free parking, while in a secure environment with on-site security cameras to put your mind at ease. The bright modern washroom is a few steps down the hall, with a large deep bathtub, shower combo. You will find complimentary shampoo and conditioner, as well as bath bubbles. A granite top vanity contains individual hand towels for sanitary purposes, sanitary wipes and hand soap. Arise to the smell of coffee brewing in the kitchen. For the early risers, a K-Express Coffee Maker is provided in your room with complimentary coffee, sugar and creamers. You can also have your morning cup out on the patio while listening to the birds chirping or while you do your yoga in the sunroom. The BEST part! Gourmet breakfast is included; you can choose from the house specialty, Eggs Benedict, or a lighter Continental style breakfast. All professionally prepared by your Personal Chef! On the main floor, we have a dedicated living/common room that is exclusively for our guests. It is set up with a small library stocked with a variety of best sellers and board games. Sit back on the comfy leather couch, or relax in the overstuffed chairs. The chef's kitchen is where all the magic happens. Breakfast's are prepared fresh in front of your eyes, or dinner if you selected the ultimate package. Out the garden doors there is an enclosed sun deck full of greenery - our fresh herbs and vegetables are grown outdoors. The Cucina is our outdoor kitchen where chef prepares gourmet dinners. Further out in the yard try laying back in a hammock and let your worries melt away. You are more than welcome to sit out on the beautiful sun deck with a glass of wine or your favourite beverage. We love getting to know our guests, and answering any questions. But we also respect your space, if you need quiet time we’re here if you need us. If you choose the Ultimate Package which includes a personally Chef prepared meal, you will get to sit at the Chef's Table and share stories into the night. In a quiet, older neighbourhood located just a few shorts blocks from the New Glasgow waterfront, you will find our home situated perfectly. So many options are literally right out our doorstop. Walk to the shopping mall, where you will find groceries, liquor/cannabis store, professional offices and Aberdeen Hospital. Or walk down to the Glasgow Square where you will find music, shows, the Farmer's Market and the marina. There are many walking trails in the area with exercise stations and watering refill areas. Just a short drive to the PEI ferry, famous beaches and the Halifax airport. What more could you need! There is security monitored parking in the driveway as well as parking right in front of the house. You can walk or bike downtown or to the local shops and trails. The house cat "Symbah" always likes to say hi with a meet and greet to all of our new guests. She is a Siamese Seal Point/Lynx cross. Diesel is our friendly 10 year old German Shepherd dog, he loves meeting our guests too! He keeps a watchful eye on everyone at night! The pets are not allowed in our guest rooms so you won't have to worry about pet hair in your room.
