Breathe in peace and discover a deeper sense of your own wellbeing at our Acadian Country Inn. The Vieux Presbytère was built in 1880 on a breath-taking 3 acre ocean-front property in Bouctouche. A former residence for the parish priest, the inn’s original architecture and soul have been preserved, as much inside as outside in the surrounding grounds and gardens. Modernization allows our guest to take pleasure in the past and find refreshment for body and spirit, without sacrificing contemporary comforts. On the ground floor you will find the breakfast and sitting rooms. There are decks of cards, checker/chess boards, and other board games. The suites are located one storey up. There is also a smaller public sitting room in between the two suites. Yes, Ann and Raymond will be onsite to welcome you and help you make the most of your stay. While you are with us, walk to the lighthouse on the world-famous 12-kilometer Bouctouche sand dune, stroll, summer or winter, in Kouchibouguac Park, venture out in a sea kayak, lose yourself in a good book with the rhythm of the waves as your soundtrack, learn a little Acadian history, or simply sip a fine glass of wine, admiring the view from one of our salons, verandah or in our large back garden. There is a parking lot onsite for free parking. Moncton, with the closest train and bus stations and airport, is about a 35-minute drive. Please note that the HST (15%) is included in the listed price. Continental breakfast is also included in the price. We are close to Le Pays de la Sagouine et La Dune de Bouctouche (Eco-centre Irving). Visit our Saturday Farmers' market - it is full of surprises. There is also an art gallery in town with a café.
