Here it is possible to travel back in time to the time of Colonial Brazil. The region is very privileged, in the Historic Center of Paranaguá, surrounded by beautiful buildings from the time of Colonial Brazil. Paranaguá is one of the first Brazilian cities. To be here is to relive a little of the history of Brazil. Welcome and welcome to our Yellow House. In it we keep affective memories from 5 generations. This Casarão is approximately 300 years old, and since the generation of my Tataravó, Dna Maria Julia Alves do Nascimento is marking the history of our lineage. In this house, 4 generations of our family were born. It is an honor and a pleasure to be able to receive guests from Brazil and from all over the world. The experience of living with so many people from so many different cultures is priceless. We really like Culture, and whenever possible we do poetic recitals and musical soirees, with our beautiful piano. If you are an artist, poet, musician, this is a place you will like! Rosana is a biologist and doctor in mangrove ecology and traditional ecological knowledge. We can talk at length about the ecological and cultural wealth of the region, and carry out ecotourism and cultural activities in bays, mangroves, beaches, and traditional coastal communities. Here we treat everyone as if they were family. Make yourself at home. We look forward to your presence. Casarão Amarelo is located in the Historic Center of Paranaguá. It is close to everything. Walking a few blocks you will find restaurants, banks, cafeterias, pharmacies, supermarkets, stores of all kinds. It is also just a few blocks from the embarkations to the Ilhas das Peças, Superaguí and Ilha do Mel, in addition to other traditional fishing communities of the Caiçaras People. On weekends you can enjoy the famous Fandango, typical dance of the Caiçaras people, a dance that goes on until dawn, and takes place at the Mercado do Café, a few blocks from the Casarão. You can also learn more about Caiçara Culture by visiting some local Culture Points. If you want to go to the beach, Praia de Leste is the closest, about 40 minutes by car. Here in Paranaguá we are in the heart of the great Estuarine Complex of the Paranaguá Bay, composed of 5 large bays, namely, Antonina Bay, Paranaguá Bay, Laranjeiras Bay, Pinheiros Bay and Guaraqueçaba Bay. All of these locations accessed through navigation. It is also possible to visit other nearby historic cities, such as Guaraqueçaba (by boat), Morretes (by bus or car) and Antonina (by boat, bus or car).
