Kishauwau's Starved Rock Area Cabins - Single Bedroom (Trading Post) Cabin Sleeps 6

Friday & Saturday nights must be booked together for a weekend stay here. It will allow you to book it but we will not be able to accommodate as we just don't allow check ins or outs on Saturdays. Airbnb does not collect county taxes so guests will receive a funds request from us for that amount. Guests of Kishauwau's Starved Rock Area Cabins enjoy the peaceful atmosphere we offer. Roomy, well spaced cabins provide the privacy our guests are looking for. This cabin style offers 1 separate bedroom with a queen sized bed & 4 twin beds lining the corners of the walls out of the way in the living space. There is 1 full bath with a shower. Each cabin offers a full kitchen, central heating & air, covered porch with porch swing and personal outdoor bonfire pit with picnic table & grill. In a country setting just 10 minutes from Starved Rock State Park. We are a small, family run cabin rental property so it's a very homey feel. Each of our cabins has a full kitchen so you can bring in any food or drinks you want. All cabins here have their own personal outdoor bonfire pit, picnic tables & grill Guests will enjoy their home away from home here. These are individual units that have their own kitchens with personal outdoor bonfire pits, picnic tables & grills. You do not share your space with anyone. My husband and I live right on site and are here for guests if you need us. Once we check you in we leave you alone for your getaway and you come to us if you need us for something. You are provided our cell numbers upon check in and that is how you will communicate with us. Most guests do not get great cell reception here because of our wooded property. Most can text but there are no guarantees. We do leave our land line phone hanging from an easel board in our office for guests to use to communicate with us or for any non international calls. Quiet, country setting on a bluff above the Vermilion River. There is a small hiking trail along the river if you ask us about it. Some people fish the bank at the back of the property as long as they bring their own bait & tackle and are willing to tackle the hill that leads to it.
