Casita Chiquita

Feel the tranquility of nature in this upscale one level casita situated in a jungle garden. Wake up to the music of the abundant wildlife: toucans, parrots, capuchin and howler monkeys are often seen from the spacious back deck. The casita is well outfitted for all you need for a relaxing stay. There is a queen bed with a brand new memory foam mattress and fine linens in the main room. Our complete kitchen includes a coffee pot, 2 burner cooktop , a large toaster/convection oven , a full refrigerator, dishes ,cookware, and large water dispenser. We will even stock some basics to get you started. The casita is open air with all openings screened - no air conditioner needed ! There are multiple overhead fans and a safe is provided for any valuables. The spacious back deck has bench seating , a table for 4 and a daybed/couch for relaxing. Enjoy the romantic double headed shower that is completely private yet gives you the feeling of a waterfall in the jungle ! Feel free to wander the garden paths or just relax on the bench. The large acre double lot is gated and offers a secure area for a car to park if needed. Please feel free to enjoy the trails throughout the yard The owners live in a completely separate residence on the property and are available to assist with any needs but will never interfere with your privacy. The casita is completely private Playa Chiquita is a safe quiet neighborhood yet walking distance to great restaurants, a gourmet grocery store , and fresh markets. The beach is just a 500 meter walk down the most scenic road and path in the south Caribbean ( we think !) We have seen sloth crossings , macaws, and iguanas many times on the trail ! Easy to walk to beach , markets, grocery store and many great restaurants. If needed bicycle rental nearby. Also you and catch a bus at the end of our street to multiple destinations.
