This colorful fishing village is wrapped around a beautiful bay and is best seen from an overlook on the main road to Vieux Fort which ascends the hill which forms the southern arm of the bay. Spacious Open Plan Hillside Villa This modern spacious villa has 4 queen sized bedrooms, 2 with en suite bathrooms, the 3rd and 4th bedrooms share a lovely family sized bathroom. Built from timber and designed for comfort Hermitage Villa has been aptly named providing the lucky guests with a private retreat where up to 8 guests can settle down, enjoy the comfort, the views and the island. Pitons & Ocean Views Located on a ridge in the Rabot Estate, a short drive from town and the beaches, Hermitage Villas views of the Petite Piton and Caribbean Sea beneath are jaw dropping. Hermitage Villa is right in the heart of the cocoa plantation, about 4k south of Soufriere - surrounded by greenery and lovely and private / quiet. The villa has great access to many attractions with Sulphur Springs, Ladera Resort, Hotel Chocolat less than half a mile away and the renowned Boucan restaurant just down the road. Beaches just 10 mins Drive The beaches, bars and restaurants are just a 10 minute drive away whilst the house sits peacefully upon a serene tropical hillside framed with landscaped fragrant gardens. The closest beach is the Malgretoute Beach at the bottom of the Petite Piton. With the Sugar Beach Resort a further 5 minute drive up the road from the Malgretoute Beach. Cool & Comfortable This lovely property is located 1200 ft above sea level, with a constant breeze blowing directly from the rainforest. There are fans available for guests to use at the villa. Made from volcanic stone, cool tiled floors and greenheart with walls over 1' thick, the villas have very cool interiors. Plunge Pool, Privacy & Patio Guests can enjoy relaxing upon comfortable lounge furniture alongside a refreshing private pool with the Petite Piton view almost impossibly close by. Open-Air Kitchen A lovely open-air kitchen helps maintain a cool interior, guests can enjoy a meal preparation service provide at an additional charge, please ask the team for details. The kitchen facilities include a fridge freezer, microwave, coffee maker, oven & grill and toaster. There is a lovely dining area which leads to the garden. With 4 spacious bedrooms – two of which have en-suite facilities and queen size beds and the other two share a family bathroom. There are open and enclosed living areas, and a first floor veranda offering panoramic views of the Petite piton and the Caribbean Sea below. Guest Levy St Lucia Government applies a tourism tax to guests staying in private residential properties. This is a 7USD per night per person Levy which is due to be paid by guests on arrival at the property.
