My Country Home

This Amish owned family friendly home is centrally located in the village of Intercourse, Lancaster County. The home is a 5 -10 minute walk (no sidewalk, along a narrow shoulder of the road) or a 1 minute drive from the shops of Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse. It's also a 10 min. drive from the town of Bird in Hand. The home is very near Amish farms with a great view out back. Mary's "Country Road Flowers" store is located in a separate building behind the home. The home is located on a fairly busy secondary road. Guests are free to enjoy the spacious backyard and patio (behind the shop which is behind the house) with a scenic view of the surrounding Amish countryside. The home has one bedroom and bath on the ground floor. There are 4 bedrooms and a 2nd (ensuite) bathroom on the 2nd floor. A twin sofa bed is also available for a child. Mary (the owner) or Dave (the manager) will be available via text or phone to answer any questions. This area of central Lancaster County offers countless attractions for visitors including Amish buggy rides, shops selling local quilts & crafts, restaurants and much much more. You can arrive by train in Lancaster city and take a bus from there to the town of Intercourse. Wifi is available (but sometimes spotty). Breakfast is not provided.
