Welcome to Mindo! This second-floor room with a view is close to the centre of town but set back from all of the noise, nestled in a gorgeous natural setting on the banks of the Canchupi River. This room offers a double bed, a private washroom and a shared balcony with one other room. The sound of the river rushing by will guarantee you a wonderful sleep. You are also free to access the yoga studio, its hammocks, a short loop trail & the river. Make yourself at home in any of the various options outside to enjoy the beautiful biodiversity (especially the birds!). Just outside of the room there is a balcony shared with one other room. You can also access any of the space provided at Casa de Cecilia next door, including wonderful bird feeders that are generally full, a breakfast area where outside of breakfast time (7:30 - 9:30), you are welcome to sit and enjoy the riverside view at any of a variety of tables, including ordering beer sold on site. You are also welcome to access the guest kitchen and leave things in the fridge there. Take your time to wander around the property to see some of the resident animals and beautiful gardens! The staff at Casa de Cecilia will be happy to help you with the key and anything else you might need, such as water, fresh towels, or information on or tickets for any of the activities offered locally, from adrenaline sports to hikes to birding excursions. This is one of the best properties to stay in Mindo, as you are right in town and yet you feel like you are completely removed, surrounded by nature. Our only two neighbours are the best chocolate tour and one of the best restaurants in town, el Quetzal Chocolate Factory, and Casa de Cecilia - where you may choose to have breakfast in the morning and where you may meet some of the other international guests staying on the shared property. You can arrange for a taxi (very inexpensive) to pick you up by talking to someone at reception at Casa de Cecilia, where you can also find out about and buy tickets for any of the many activities and tours that Mindo offers. There are also many taxis in the village that you can feel confident taking wherever you need to go.
