We are at the edge of a village on the border of forest reserve. You will awake to the sounds of birds communing in the morning while floating in a bed of sunlight hovering within tropical fruit trees. There are two independent structures. One made totally of mahogany and coconuts timber with the fourth wall open to a lush green valley filled with fireflies at night. It is a meditative space great for yoga, writing, exercise or quiet chats with friends. There is an outdoor shower and concrete tub. The second structure, the bedroom is solely that. A typical plywood structure lined within with pine. This room is also highly elevated giving the sense that you’re floating within the food forest. The bathroom is within also with a bathtub. Both structures have exposed zinc roofs, left exposed to enhance the sound of the rain. There is currently no kitchen. Arrangements can be made for catering or delivery. The host lives on property. The home is close to some old trails some leading to waterfalls that many guests enjoy with the company of a guide. There is a church and school in the community. We are about 35mins from the international airport and 15 mins away from the nearest beach. Laborie with its beaches and local restaurants are also just 20 mins away. The Soufriere mudbaths a hot springs are about 40 mins drive. Due to covid protocols guests have access to the two structures, the bedroom and meditation room, sun deck and three acres of food forest. The host lives on property and is available to help guide you through your stay Saltibus is a rural village in the south interior of the island. Life here is very slow and quiet. it's a tightly knit community of about 200 where everyone knows each other. There are a few small 'rumshops' that sell alcohol and basic necessities oil sugar, soap ect. there is also a health clinic nearby. Due to the Countries Covid Protocols all visitors to the country must travel by Covid Certified Taxis and are not allowed to rent vehicles until after 14 days of stay.
