Quaint Room for Peace and Quiet

The house is within a 3-minute walk to Morgan Park with shaded trails, picnic tables, a playground, and a quiet beach. The neighborhood is quaint, and the backyard is lush with evergreens and shade that is perfect for great conversations, some light music, and your favorite book or a game of cards. We are excited to share the comforts of our home and meet new friends! This booking is for 1 private guestroom with its own dedicated bathroom in a lovely single-family home. It is a bright cozy room with a double-twin-size bed (twin that extends into a king!) and a writing desk with 2 chairs. There is ample storage space in the closet and dresser if you plan on staying with us for a while! Breakfast, snacks, coffee, and tea will be provided, and guests are welcome to use the common areas on the ground floor and the backyard. If you have more than 2 guests, we have another room available with a queen-size bed for 2-3 people. Please check my other posting to book both rooms. This is a residential neighborhood, so if you plan to explore further into Long Island, you will most likely come with your own car, which can be parked safely right outside the house. If you are coming from the city without your own vehicle, you could arrive via LIRR to Glen Street Station, and take an Uber or a local taxi. Pickup or dropoff to the LIRR could be arranged depending on the hosts' availability. This is our primary residence, so we will be around to help you with anything you need during your stay. We enjoy meeting people and curious discussions, but we are also happy to give you space if you prefer more quiet time. We are in a very quaint and beautiful residential neighborhood with rolling hills.
