This home has great common areas for gathering, an open kitchen with a long dining table, and speakers in every room for the ultimate music experience. The house sits on 38 acres with private hiking trails. Guests will enjoy the pool (25' by 14') or can sit on the patio and watch the sun set. Guests will have access to private trails, the grounds and the interior. 5 minutes from the home of the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, Garrison Golf Course, 8 miles from USMA for graduation, and the whole amazing Hudson Highlands region. Hosts will off-site but available to assist should any need arise. Great people, arts, hiking, golf, local food, beauty and wildlife spotting.... We are 5 min from metro north railroad, 1 hour to New York City. There is a local taxi company. There is a canoe for the pond:) 5 minutes from the Garrison Golf Course. Our home is very connected to the natural world, as are we. You will be aware of your natural surroundings in pretty much all spaces in the house. Please note that, while we professionally clean our home weekly, nature comes in in the form of breezes, dragon flies or other insects, an occasional mouse.
