A 5-10 minutes boat ride takes you to private Motu's and other islands for lunch, snorkeling, fishing, dolphin and whale watching, and some of the best surfing in French Polynesia. Tamahere Castagnoli, Tama, is Tiare’s Breeze owner and host, and a well-known Polynesian explorer and guide. Everyone in Tahaa and the surrounding Islands knows Tama. Born in Tahiti to an Italian father and a Tahitian Mother, Tama and his wife Virginie have a wonderful family of 4 children, Tamahau, Tinomana (Davide), Tiheni (Poupette , and Tuatahi (Boulou). They are all experienced, versatile, and the best guides for: surfing, fishing, snorkeling, private excursions, among others. Tahaa Island does not have an airport. The airport is located on the nearby island of Raiatea, 45-minute flight from Papetee. It takes 10 minutes with a boat to get from the airport to Tiare’s Breeze. Transfers are provided, (rates on request).
