Newly renovated bedroom and bathroom, separated from house by a breezeway with separate entry, provides total privacy on a quiet country lane in Shady, five minutes from Woodstock. Patio on small stream. Coffee and tea provided. Four poster queen-sized bed, elegant room. The space is just as it looks in the pictures, newly renovated, with high ceiling, lots of windows, hardwood floors, glass enclosed shower. Breezeway entrance is yours for complete privacy, closed off from the main house. Home and addition are nicely landscaped with colorful plants. The patio is also available for you use, with stream running beside it and looking into the woods, where you may see plenty of wildlife. Maureen and Martha will be available for your arrival and to give you tips on the best places to go for snacks, meals, hikes, walks, etc. We have one dog, a Cairn terrier, very friendly. We are on a quiet country lane about 4 miles from Woodstock, 2 from Bearsville. Minimal traffic. Some elevation so it's usually cooler here than right in town. You need a car to get around here. We have a parking spot available for your use. We appreciate knowing the estimated time of your arrival to be sure we can be home to greet you.
