We have designed this home for maximum relaxation and enjoyment. Every window in the house looks out to the surrounding serene forest, making for a treehouse like feel. Catch a glimpse of a mountain from the front porch, enjoy peaceful and modern interior design, and spend time kicking back in the thoughtfully appointed backyard oasis. The house is a wonderful retreat, guests are keen to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The house backs up to forever wild land providing beauty and privacy for your group. Enjoy the sunrise through the trees in the morning, keep an eye out for turkey and deer throughout the day, and don’t miss the starry night sky on a clear night! To accommodate a world more commonly working and learning from home, we would like to highlight that the home WiFi easily supports multiple guests maintaining their normal work and school requirements. This is a three bedroom house, all bedrooms are upstairs. The master bedroom has a king bed, closet, and attached master bathroom wcomplete with full size washer/ dryer. The second bedroom has a queen bed, closet and tranquil views of the backyard. The third bedroom has one queen bed and one full size infant crib. In addition, there is a pack n play available. Upstairs you will also find a second full bathroom with a double vanity and shower/ tub. The main level is open concept, blending living spaces for maximum comfort and ease in entertaining your group. The patio and outdoor retreat is a beautiful continuation of the space complete with comfortable seating area, outdoor dining, and a classic Adirondack fire pit. We love cooking and have equipped the space to facilitate high use of the kitchen. This is not your bare bones vacation rental kitchen. If there is something specific you are looking for reach out, we are happy to add new kitchen elements for all guests to enjoy! Traveling with kids? We made sure the house is well equipped for hosting little guests! We have a full size crib, highchair, pack n play, toys, books, and an umbrella stroller for your use! They will also enjoy exploring the outdoor areas, there is a large climbing rock right in the backyard and a trail through the woods. There is also a large washer and dryer available in the master bedroom. We are always working on being a more eco friendly business. To this effect, we aim to use products made from natural materials. Enjoy our high quality 100% cotton sheets & towels. There are always paper towels available but also make use of the cloth napkins and ample kitchen towels for cooking/ cleaning. There are numerous waterways, beaches, and trails available nearby to explore. Lake Luzerne is our family favorite, just five minutes up the road! The basement and garage will be locked and is currently off limits to guests. We are available through Airbnb messaging leading up to or during your stay. We live 45 minutes away but can be present for an emergency. Feel free to text or call during your stay if you need anything! Private, half mile, dead end street surrounded by forever wild land! The street has a few houses on it, each with their own large, private lots. You will have easy access to many winter activities here. We are 17 minutes from West Mountain for skiing and tubing, a few minutes from great snowmobile trails and snow mobile rentals. We also recommend checking out Saratoga Spa State Park for their ice skating and snowshoeing opportunities. Be sure to visit Lake George for their seasonal activities as well! We are nearby many swimming spots, picnic areas, boat launches, and ADK vistas. This area is known for attractions including white water rafting, Hudson River tubing, horse back riding, kayaking, mountain biking, mini golf courses, 9 hole golf and all lake activities! We are 5 minutes away from two serene town beaches, and surrounded by several popular hikes. Saratoga is well worth the 15 mile drive to shop, explore, or learn about the historic mineral springs. SPAC offers not only a concert venue , but a large state park with several pristine public pools, stream lined playgrounds, and natural mineral springs. People have come from far and wide for decades to collect gallons of this spring water for their health benefits. Spend the day in Saratoga and then retreat back to the mountains! 20 minutes from Lake George, Great Escape, Indoor water park, and shopping outlets! Your own vehicle is recommended. Uber/Lyft/ taxi available. We love to offer traveling flexibility when we can, but we generally cannot offer early check-ins or late check-outs. Please do not arrive to the property until your check-in time and make sure to leave the property by check-out. We also cannot host more guests than is listed for safety of guests and security of our business. If these house rules are not followed you may be charged up to an additional nights stay. We ask that all guests respect the home and our neighbors. This space is not for parties outside of your booked group and we kindly ask that no such activities take place without permission. We also ask that guests follow vacation home rental etiquette and leave the home generally clean and tidy. There will be an extra cleaning fee charged for leaving the house in an untidy state. If anything is broken during your stay, please reach out so we can fix the issue before other guests check in. The property is monitored closely and signs of misusing the property will result in eviction without refund.
