ASTOR ADVENTURE *Open for bookings!

Our home is spacious in all the right places. Cozy with a Lodge feel, plenty of yard space to hang out and relax, and nestled within the Ocala National Forest. 3 Natural Springs, Volusia Speedway, and the St. Johns River, are 5-15 mins away. 20-45 is Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach, and Silver Springs Park. Whether you Go fishing, swim with manatees at Silver Glenn, kayaking, hiking, or race around the track, we are sure you will find adventure waiting . Astor also has great dining choices. We have two Queen Beds in the Bedrooms, and a Queen Sleeper sofa with sheets in the credenza below the TV. We have internet, we have a streaming service called GreenStream we get so many channels from all over the country, and smart TV to log into your own Netflix or Hulu accounts or watch DVD's on the Blue Ray machines in each room. We hope you enjoy the company you are with and getting away from all the cable tv / hustle and bustle. There are also games available to play. We start you off with a little bit of this and a little bit of that, i.e. laundry pods, paper towels, toilet paper, you will have to buy any additional toiletries, as these are just to get you started. There are bath towels, and linens, and fully stocked kitchen, feel free to add to our collection of things. We have a doorbell camera on the front door only , it is there for safety and security purposes . Please do not cover or damage our camera The guests have the entire 2 bedroom 2 bath house. The very large yard with pic nic table and fire pit in the back . Plenty of parking in front of the house . We can be reached by phone, or thru the air b n b app, most anytime. We are usually quick to respond. However if we are in the forest or swimming in a spring, we may not have our phone, please be patient. Astor is a small town feel, ironically everyone knows our neighbor crossed the street, Sammy. Astor has a Grocery store, ice cream shop, Dollar General, Ace Hardware, and a few great restaurants. On the weekends Linda's Antique Mall is open and theres always something fun to find. Music can be found sometimes at Castaway's and Drifters on the water. Sparkey's is great home town cooking and you feel like you belong. There are boat tours out of the Drifters restaurant you should defintely check out. Sunsets are great most anywhere on the river. Be aware Black Bears are in the area, and We LOVE when we are blessed to see one. Just be careful and keep your distance. When you arrive, the Mailbox with the address is where you will get out and open the gate, then drive towards the manufactured home, it also has the address on the front of the house. Park anywhere near the front steps. We will issue a code just for you to gain access during your stay. Some restaurants are closed on Mondays but Sparky’s is open that day
