We are situated by the waters edge (apart from during low water season when the water recedes ) and on the pedestrian Boulevard away from the constant mototaxi (Tuk-Tuk) noise that plagues the rest of the city. Good restaurants/bars/laundry are a stone throw away further along the boulevard. Main square, restaurants, bars, shops, banks, supermarket, markets etc. are all within walking distance. A mototaxi (tuk-tuk) costs 2 soles (US$0.80) anywhere within the centre of town.
