This property is convenient for year-round use as it is located just 5 mins. from Bridgewater where you will find all necessary amenities and 20 mins. from the historic UNESCO town of Lunenburg and from Mahone Bay, top tourist destinations on the South Shore, as well as many beautiful beaches all within a short driving distance. Located directly on the river in a private park-like setting, Loon Point suite offers a cozy cottage-like feel, large living area with stone fireplace, well-equipped kitchen, 4-poster queen bed and 3-piece bath. This home, on the site of an old boat building yard, offers a private entrance only 10 feet from the water's edge. Enjoy both stunning sunrises and sunsets on the river and watch the numerous waterfowl from your private deck. Guests can enjoy lounging on their private riverside deck, a private dock, and use of the boat launch. Kayaks are available for you to explore the LaHave River and get closer to nature. Test your skill (and luck) and try your hand at fishing for mackerel (fishing rods available on site) from the property's private wharf.
