Calypso Suite - by the Caribbean

The Calypso suite is located on 2 acres overlooking the west end of St. Croix and the Caribbean Sea offering, a bedroom. kitchen, dining area, gallery with a day bed, patio areas w/hammocks, lounges, and dining al fresco in the garden. My listing is unique because when you are in the Calypso Suite you feel like you are in the deep quiet peaceful woods down in this cul-de-sac overlooking the Caribbean, the beach below, the Beachside Café and other hospitality spots. Yet you are able to walk 2 blocks over to Queen Mary (Main Road) and catch a taxi van that can take you from the west end to all points east along the way. You do have the choice of walking west 3 minutes and you will reach the sea and all of the socializing with tourists and natives alike. On the sea road you can travel north for one half a mile and be in the town of Frederiksted where all of the cruise liners come to dock on St. Croix. When guests reach the town, they have access to shopping, eating in various restaurants, scuba diving at the pier, listening to live music at some of the many beach parties and at Sunset Jazz. Guests can attend performances of the Caribbean Dance Co., go to the Caribbean Museum Center, Whim Great House Museum, Botanical Gardens, Pavillion at the Rum Factory and have access to all kinds of sports activities including Horseback Riding, kayaking, deep sea fishing, sailing, gaming and many other exciting events. My guest are usually out having the time of their lives with all of the fun things that there are for them to do. Usually, when I encounter them mornings, they describe what they have planned for the day. Encountering them in the evenings they relive their adventures with me. Something that we both enjoy. First of all I enjoy the visual imagery and magic of being in a place where I see the sun and the sea shining back at me each day. I enjoy all of my neighbors who share this lifestyle with me and the warm feeling that I experience when interacting with them. My guests also experience that feeling too! My guests usually reserve a rental car and with my instructions they drive to the Calypso Suite. Guests are able to park on the compound right outside of the suite. If guests have not rented a vehicle they are able to take public transportation with VItran (local transportation Co.) or catch a taxi van just 2 blocks away or walk the half mile to the town of Frederiksted and catch the bus there.
