It is a cozy and comfortable cabin, located in the mountain. It´s equipped with the basics to have a pleasant stay. It has free Wifi, fan, fridge, electric grill, several utensils, pots, hot water shower, rocking chairs, It has enough space for two, even three people. It´s ideal for those who seek to relax in a quiet environment and surrounded by natural stimuli. Access to fruit trees (Mango, Orange, tangerine, guava, lemon, avocado) The cottage is located in the middle of the mountain within a family property, completely private. It´s an ideal place to relax, be in peace and enjoy nature. Within the property you can observe a lot of plants and animals; for example Monkeys, garrobos, iguanas, guatuzas, lots of butterflies, hummingbirds, toucans and many other types of birds. The cabin is fully equipped if you wish to cook your own food, but we also offer breakfast service for $ 5 USD (Typical Costa Rican Breakfast). Airport pick up or drop off at USD 25. Inside the property you can make use of the large green areas, you can also grab fruits from the trees or meditate under its shade. There is a basketball court where the guest can play or also challenge me on a 21 game, It would be nice. There is also a play, with bars to do some exercise. Parking is ample and safe, there is enough space for the car in case that you have one. We fully respect the privacy of our guests, however if they wish to talk, ask for a favor or get some information, have the doors of our house open and we will gladly welcome them. Our house is located at the top of the property, approximately 50 meters from the cottage. The cabin is located in the neighborhood "La Presa", which is extremely quiet and safe since it´s a dead end street, there are not many vehicles and people like to go for a walk and to run, you will always see someone doing sports. We are located 4.5Km from Atenas down town (the village has all the basic services), walking takes (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) min and by car 5min. There is a grocery store nearby, 8 minutes walking from the cabin. You can go to the center of Atenas walking, it's about (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) min. There is good frequency of buses to Alajuela (670CRC) and San José (1.000CRC) (every hour approximately). The nearest bus stop is 3km and walking takes 20min. There is also taxi service to Atenas down town, from the cabin is (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) CRC. If any member of the family goes to the center we can gladly do the ride for free. 1hr 10 min by car to Jaco Beach and 40 minutes to San Jose. Pretty Close to big shooping malls like Multiplaza in Escazu (25minutes) and City Mall in Alajuela (30minutes) We have two pets, Pancho & Nicolás, they are two dogs, very friendly and calm, they play by the property trying to hunt lizards, I must say that they never succeed for the lizards luck haha. They are always loose, however they will not cause any problems.
