Cozy Beaumont suite South of Edmonton - basement

This lovely basement suite offers a private bathroom with shower. The kitchen and living room are in one spacious open area. There is a double bed in one bedroom and a queen bed in the second bedroom. My home is in the town of Beaumont, a 20 minute drive from Edmonton International Airport, 10 minutes east of Highway 2 and within a few minutes drive of nearby south Edmonton. If you are seeking a cozy, clean "home away from home" while you are visiting Beaumont or nearby Edmonton... you've found the place. A double bed in one bedroom and a queen sized bed in the second bedroom allows for 2 - 4 people to sleep comfortably. The private bathroom has a sink, toilet & shower. Check-in & check-out times flexible depending on your situation and my schedule. Please inform if you will have small children with you and we can discuss options. Kitchen: dishes, sink, appliances - coffee maker, toaster, stove with range hood fan, microwave, & fridge. Meal seating for 2 - 4 Home amenities: Iron & ironing board Internet Access: Wireless - password provided on check-in. Entertainment: cable TV, games, books An electric fireplace is available for extra warmth. Parking: on-street parking. Access is shared with the homeowner. The host or co-host will be available to offer help during your stay. My home is in a quiet, friendly neighbourhood with a mix of young families, empty nesters and retired residents. Beaumont downtown is within easy walking distance up the hill. The landmark Catholic Church in the centre of town is visible from my backyard. There are Doctor's, Dentist's & Optometrist offices, a Pharmacy & Health Unit, banks, liquor store, computer store, dress shop, gift shop, artists' gallery and library are all within a few blocks of each other. There are also a variety of restaurants in the core area - Chartier, Crepe & Shake, Jef's Cafe, Maina's Donair, Pizza Hut, Vietnamese Kitchen, Golden Palace, Twin Dragons Sports Bar. At least as many restaurants ring the town on the north and south. The Aquafit Centre and the Ken Nichols Recreation Centre have athletic opportunities year round. Taxi services are available as needed. Walking is pleasant on the pathways throughout the town and into the parks. Most people need a car for transport in Beaumont. There is a taxi service based out of Beaumont. A commuter bus service started in the Fall of 2017 connecting riders to downtown Edmonton via the Light Rail Transit system during peak hours only. Parking is available on the street.
