Join us in a relaxing getaway on the Ometepe Island in Nicaragua! Please read through the entire description of the listing for all the information you will need to know for your stay! Room 3 of 7: One double bed, one single bed, PRIVATE bathroom (no hot water showers), FAN room, WiFi (in the living room) Maximum: 3 Guests . ATTN: Please note that if this listing is unavailable for booking, we have 6 other listings to browse through! Hefziba Bed & Breakfast is located on the beautiful and peaceful Ometepe Island in Rivas, Nicaragua. We’re located on the outskirts of the town of Moyogalpa; a 15-20 minute walk from town or a 5 minute mototaxi ride from the port. Hefziba currently has seven rooms available for booking. This listing is for ROOM 3. This basic room has one double and one single bed therefore, can only accommodate 3 guests. It has a private bathroom and is a FAN room (no AC). This room includes breakfast for 2. NOTE: We do NOT have hot water showers. This is common in Nicaragua. Sorry =(. Also, WiFi is available in the living room area but it is not a very strong connection so please keep in mind if you plan to work while you're here! Lastly, we ask that you please respect our property (rooms, appliances, etc). We do reserve the right to charge any damages to cover for repairs! We will be fair with you so please be fair to us! =). Thank you! Although I spend a lot of time on Ometepe, this is not my permanent home. It belongs to my grandmother who you might get to meet if shes not in the capital city of Managua! My cousin Memo lives here permanently however, so he will always be available to you on site along with the help of on-call translator. My family on the island does NOT speak English which is where I do my best to help them with reservations and communicating with guests before hand to assure a smooth reservation and stay. This is truly a family effort and we do hope you appreciate all the effort that goes to making you feel at home! I may be present during some stays, but not for all. I will however, be fully available to you for the booking process and in helping you make your stay as comfortable as possible :) Moyogalpa is a very small town with many cute shops and many restaurants to choose from, most of which offer traditional Nicaraguan cuisine. It is a very safe town but we recommend travelling in pairs or groups in the evenings. Also, the main road does not have many street lights, therefore, please bring a flashlight to help guide your way! Ometepe does have public transportation that can take you to different parts of the island for very cheap! If you opt out of public transportation however, there are many places that rent motorcycles and scooters for about $25-30USD a day (9am-5pm). They will ask you for your passport ID, $50USD deposit and a full tank of gas when returning the rental. Lastly, tours are also available on Ometepe. It could range between $40-80USD per group depending on how far you'd like to explore! This will include transportation in a mini bus. Hope that all helps! Happy planning =)
