Magical Island Getaway- Isla Tijereto Entire house

Unplug at this island paradise and enjoy the luxury of being by the sea. Enjoy the turquoise waters just 2 meters away from the house and swimming after hours under the sizzling Caribbean sun. We are very excited that you are interested in coming to our family house in the Rosario Islands! Isla Tijereto was designed in the 50's and aims to be 100% sustainable. Its strategic location allows it to receive wind and breeze during day and night. We have a rain water filtering system that allows us to have fresh water all year long. We do not have electric light but do have a solar panel to charge computers, ipads etc, gas lamps, romantic candle lights, gas kitchen as well as refrigerator that works with ice blocks that we provide. We have a cleaning lady that will make sure to pamper you during you stay. She will also cook typical costeño dishes such as arepa de huevo, arroz con coco and fried fish (I can provide you with the grocery shopping list. The fish and lobster can be bought, at a very good price, at the island from local fishermen). The house hosts up to 9 people and includes private dock, terrace, hammocs and tanning beds. It will ensure you spending a great vacation at the sea. The house also has a canoe to take small discovery trips around the island. (URL HIDDEN) You will have access to all the house. Alejo and Paloma will be able to take care of you during the stay You can get to the island from the Bodeguita dock in Cartagena from our trusted boat operator Maricruz. It costs COP$35.000 (USD$12) + COP$15.000 (USD$5) for the entrance to the national park (The costs are per person). They leave Cartagena at 9am to arrive at the island at 9:45am. On the way back you can take Maricruz boat that leaves at 3pm or take a boat that leaves at 6:30am if you need to be back in Cartagena early. I can also arrange a private boat that costs COP$550.000 If you have to be in Cartagena before 10am is best if you stay the night before in the city Here are some of the activities you can do at the island we do not provide snorkeling gear so you have to bring your own. Normally there are fishermen that can take you there for 50.000COP per ride. Ask Paloma to arrange them for you: 1. Go to Laguna encantada. You can pay 20 us to a fisherman to take you there in a boat. It is a plankton lagoon. 2. Go to el pueblo de Isla grande on Saturday or Friday there should be a good party there. Either day. Again you have to rent a boat. You can do both lagoon a pueblo in the same day. 3. Go to the acuarium. 4. Roe around the island in the canoe. It is beautiful specially in the mornings 5. You can walk around the island without any problem 6. If you bring your snorkeling gear you can snorkel in the reefs around the island. 7. Go to Isla Rosario where there are beautiful beaches.
