Cozy, charming, rustic retreat with privacy!

Our cozy, rustic retreat is perfect for a little escape to the country. It is private and inviting. We poured our hearts into this space to make it charming, relaxing, and a space that makes you feel like family. You have an outside space to relax and listen to the birds singing, and there is a picnic table outside if you would like to spend some time in nature. It is our goal to make you feel loved and like family. We are close to Helen, Toccoa, Tallulah Gorge. King size bed with a new bamboo memory foam mattress, sofa, and playpen. We do allow up to 4 people, but the space is rather small. You can see from the pictures. We do have a lot of space outside to sit by the fire pit, walk around, or sit out and drink your coffee as you listen to the birds. You may access the entire apartment, the outside private porch area, or you may enjoy the outside picnic area that is next to a fire pit if you wish to have a fire. There is plenty of space to walk around. We live in the middle of 5 acres away from the road. We do have two washers and dryers in the main house that you may use if needed, but arrangements would have to be made to come inside to use them. We live on the property, and can help if needed. You may call our cell phones at any time. The space is completely private. It is not attached to our home. You have your own porch, fire pit area, and entrance. We live in the middle of 5 acres down a dirt driveway that makes the space private and relaxing. Our driveway is gravel and there will be some mud if has been raining. We do have children, but they are instructed not to go outside and play before 10am :). We do have chickens that crow in the mornings. But there is so much space to walk around, enjoy nature, and relax. There is no public transportation nearby. We have a single electric burner (not a full size stove), microwave, apartment refrigerator, blender, toaster, iron, crock pot, and keurig. The shower does have a slanted ceiling. If you are over 6 feet tall, you may have bend over a little. The bathroom also has a heavy curtain and not a door due to the slant in the ceiling.I would like to mention that we do sit in the middle of 15 acres surrounded by woods and farmland. This environment can, on occasion, open itself up to bugs or ants, especially when it rains hard. We do have monthly pest control service, and we clean the space thoroughly after every guest. I never want a guest to arrive and be surprised or disappointed. We do hope that leave feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN FIREWOOD. There are several stores nearby that sell bundles.
