Journey’s End B&B, a newly built French Country retreat located on 35 acres is ideally situated in the heart of the Rockies for mountain activities or a quiet getaway. We lie astride beautiful Mueller State Park and close to the lovely village of Woodland Park and city of Colorado Springs. If quiet and mountain scenery is what you are seeking, but close access to all the wonderful adventures this area affords, you will find it here. We are also a ‘Certified Wildlife Habitat.’ Vet owned/operated. This listing is for all three upstairs bedrooms in our home at a substantial discount, ideal for a large family or group. Don and Tom's Rooms share a Jack & Jill bathroom; Mom's Room is en-suite. With this package, you will have access to the entire upstairs of our home at a substantial discount. Guests have access to a single serve coffee maker, tea pot, all the fixings, and a basket of fresh fruit and goodies on the landing outside each room. Each bathroom is equipped with toiletries for your use. Our longer term guests can have the use our modern chef’s kitchen, laundry, and grand room. There are lovely scenic views of the Rockies from every room. Please note that this listing is NOT for our entire home, but for all three upstairs bedrooms. We stay in the out of the way, innkeeper’s quarters on the first floor. There is a spacious morning room and common area for guests. There is also a large deck on the back of our home for lounging or snacking with a hot tub for our guest’s use. A large selection of books and videos is available. We love socializing with our guests. We live here too, and we are always available to answer any questions you may have about our area. We can also offer you seclusion and privacy if you so desire. Our home is wonderfully quiet and secluded on 35 acres. You will hear no sirens or traffic here; and have to look very hard for our neighbor’s home peeping over the ridge. If you are looking for a quiet place to read a good book; or a beautiful place to stay within a short scenic drive to Santa (the North Pole), prehistoric fossils (Florissant Fossil National Monument), try your luck in the casinos at Cripple Creek, or a hike around the corner (Mueller State Park), you’ll find it here. An all wheel drive car or truck is recommended in the winter. This is the Rockies after all! We love our pets. If you intend to bring your fur baby, please note that we require prior approval and a $20 per night surcharge. Dogs over 20 lbs. will be required to sleep in our heated / air conditioned and comfortable mudroom. An extra cleaning fee may be required for major accidents.
