This cozy wooden cabin is nestled among the mountaintops of the Puntarenas countryside in Costa Rica. With one bedroom, one bathroom, a kitchenette, and a terrace, our cabin features all the essentials for a comfortable stay in the forest. There is also a pool perfect for sunbathing and cooling down in the Costa Rican sun and 4 lounge nets for guests to overlook the breathtaking Nícola Peninsula. Located near Puntarenas, this region is considered to be the “Pearl of the Costa Rican Pacific” with great biodiversity and endless adventures exploring the magnificent environment. We welcome all types of people to come immerse themselves in the beautiful biodiversity Costa Rica has to offer and get to know the “Ticos” -- Costa Rican locals! PURA VIDA ☀ The cabin itself contains one queen bed, one bath, and a kitchenette. Outside of the cabin, there is the luxurious pool, hammocks for lounging, and observatory nets. This area is a shared space among guests but is still private for a serene getaway. Located in the countryside, this cabin is great for those searching for a quiet place to relax and be among nature. With views of Puntarenas, the gulf, and the Nícola Peninsula, guests will want to catch every sunset during their stay here! Some offer guided hikes along the mountain trails. The neighbor across the street sells eggs and the other one sells milk. Whichever season you visit during, make sure to use the oranges, lemons, and tangerines growing in our garden! We also offer guests the access to the BBQ grill outside, a coffee maker, cooking essentials, and extra linens. The kitchen also has a small refrigerator, utensils, and dishware. Please use any of the fruit from our garden and look at the butterflies and hummingbirds that the fruit attracts! Our water is drinkable! Since we are located in the mountains, we experience difficulties with having optimal cable connection. A bus leaves Tajo Alto every morning to Puntarenas and San José. If you are in need of a reliable taxi driver that will drive you to and from excursions, our friend Giovanny will drive you for a reasonable price. Let us know if you would like to contact him!
