Casa Galinhos

Galinhos is a peninsula, 145 km away from Natal airport. Galinhos is extremely good for kitesurfing and windsurfing. The wind is very strong from October till April, as it´s thermal. Otherwise it´s really quiet. The house is situated right in the middle of the fisher´s commune, first row from the water. In a few minutes you get to the pier, small supermarkets and Galinhos´s city centre. More information about Galinhos: "Galinhos eu fui lá!!!" on Youtube The house is simple but very cosy. There´s a great view from the terrace upstairs, the sunset is spectacular and is perfect for a sun downer. There´s one room upstairs, where two people can sleep, it leads directly to the master bedroom with a adjoining bathroom. Downstairs is big living space with an American kitchen, where 2 people and sleep, another terrace and bathroom, and a small patio with a sink. I´m renting the whole house I won´t be there, but somebody will, who will take care and can organize trips. Right next door are the fishermen. You can watch from upstairs when they get fresh fish und buy it directly from "Pernuda" the sales lady, does´t get any better than that. every 30 minutes there´s a boat to the main land. From there there´s a bus 3 times a week to Natal. Pick up from the airport can be arranged. As the peninsula, consisting of sand, there´s hardly any fresh water. I will have the cistern filled prior to your arrival. If it isn´t enough, I´m pleased to help to organize some more. Generally the island is very simple, no night life, hardly any cars. But it´s very safe.
