This pleasant and welcoming 3-bedroom, 1-Bathroom house is located on a short quiet street in the bustling neighbourhood of Woodbrook, Port of Spain mixed with residential, businesses, cafes and restaurants. Definitely everything Carnival, but also situated near One Woodbrook Place, "De Avenue", St James, Queen's Park Oval and Queen's Park Savannah, walking distances to all amenities (such as embassies, hospitals, pharmacies, supermarkets, pubs) This sufficiently furnished house is situated on the western end of Woodbrook. Centrally located 10-20 minutes to Downtown, Port of Spain and with all major conveniences within walking distances. The TV area and all the bedrooms are air-conditioned. Access to onsite parking for up to 2 cars. TV area with Cable and Wi-Fi, Dining area to seat 6 and Sitting area with antique Morris Chairs. Enjoy a game of checkers or draughts with a locally crafted board made of cement. For most, Woodbrook is the Carnival capital of Trinidad & Tobago only a 5-10 minutes walk to "The Savannah". 1 minute away is the popular large pan band Phase 2. The house is in the centre of Carnival ad during this time will experience noise from the festivities. Available to welcome you and can be contacted at anytime during your stay. Woodbrook is a vibrate area mixed with businesses, restaurants, cafes and bars all within walking distances from the apartment. Easy access to Downtown Port of Spain and close to parks in particular the Queen's Park Savannah (Carnival mecca of Trinidad and Tobago). West is the busy town of St James where you can head up to Fort George overlooking Port of Spain, Gulf of Paria and on a good day all the way to the south end of Trinidad. But not before passing by One Woodbrook Place with Imax and a few bars and restaurants. North is the largest open recreational area in Port of Spain known as The Queen's Park Savannah where you can also visit close by the National Academy for Performing Arts, National Museum, Botanic Gardens, Emperor Valley Zoo. East is Downtown Port of Spain for gridlock and street vendors. Visit the Hyatt for brunch or Breakfast Shed for local cuisine. Enroute to a 30-45 minutes drive to the Piarco Airport. South is the the infamous "Avenue" regarded a sleepless strip with night clubs, pubs, street food and more at every corner. Also nearby is Movietowne for shopping, entertainment and the Marriott. Stop by the Hasley Crawford National Stadium for events or just a quick jog up/down the stairs for exercise. My favourite places close to the apartment are Movietowne Invader's Bay (Multiscreen Cinema, Starbucks, Rituals, Texas De Brazil, Prime, other eating places and retail shopping), "De Avenue" for More Vino Sushi, Wrap Works, Frankie's, Pub House, Me Asia, Cocobel, Veni Mange (and other places such as Angelo's), past De Avenue are All Out & Jaffa's at the Queen's Park Oval on Tragarete Road, Buzo, Trotters, G-Spot, Apsara with Adam's and Joseph's in Maraval, then finally, OWP or One Woodbrook Place for Imax, Chaud Café, Buzz Bar, Island Beer, Samurai to name a few if you really want to stay a stone throw away. The house is less than 2 minutes walk to the western end of Ariapita Ave or "D'Avenue" and a 5-minute drive to Movietowne. Close by are St Clair Medical Centre, Brian Lara Cancer Treatment Centre and St James Emergency Centre. Renting a car or hiring a personal driver/taxi is recommended for outer city visits. All conveniences are within walking distances. Easy access to public (H taxis and buses) and private transportation (such as taxi companies including Uber). Self Check-In with Keypad.
