The Buttercup @ Buttermilk Acres

The Buttercup is a charming, romantic tiny house sitting on the bank of a babbling mountain stream. It's conveniently close to Boone, NC and Mountain City, TN, and is ideally located to access all the region has to offer...near to skiing, hiking, bike trails, trout fishing, Doe Mountain, the Snake, Appalachian State University, antiquing and much, much more. The Buttercup's layout is that of an intimate tiny house. The cozy sleeping loft has a full sized floor level bed, and full amenities on the first floor. Additionally it has two RV sites adjacent to the tiny house that can be added to the reservation, making it well suited for smaller groups. They are sized for small campers or RV's with water and electric. We are pet friendly and the spacious fenced yard surrounding the tiny house is perfect for supervised dogs to exercise. The yard also features a partially covered party deck next to a duck pond. Hi, we are Dave and Sandy. We are a 'blended family' with grown kids and decided to create a place where our families could come to spend time with us in the magnificent mountains. We've put together two small group areas, one with a tiny house and two small RV spots and another with two small cabins and a gathering pavilion. After three years of building, we are excited to finally offer our tiny house for what will be our new extended Airbnb family! The Buttercup provides easy access, privacy, and a connection to the natural beauty and activities of the region. Someone is always accessible if you should need something...either Sandy and Dave, or Fain (Sandy's son) and Addie (Fain's wife) who manage Buttermilk Acres. We are excited to have you join us! The Buttercup is located on a corner of Buttermilk Acres, a quaint 50 acre hobby farm with goats, ducks, and chickens. It's only 20 minutes from great restaurants and breweries in Boone, and less than an hour from several wineries. We are just off US Route 421 (easily accessible during slippery ski season). Uber is available from Boone.
