Cozy chalet tucked away on a private road in Round Top, NY. This three bedroom home is perfect for a mountain retreat year around. Located right near beautiful trails for exploring waterfalls and mountain views in all seasons (with biking and cross-country skiing). Sites to visit also include farm-to-table restaurants, art galleries, golf courses, breweries and markets in neighboring towns like Catskill, Hudson, Hunter and Windham (20-30 min drive). The living room features an indoor fireplace, oversized sectional, indoor hammock and spacious dining table. Guests have access to an HD projector, games, record player, Bluetooth speakers and high speed internet for streaming. Sectional pulls out a full sized mattress for extra room. The kitchen is fully stocked for elegant dinners. Appliances include toaster, coffee maker, microwave, panini press, waffle maker and immersion blender. There are pots and pans for cooking, bowls for mixing and many utensils. Each bedroom has plenty of storage, fresh sheets with pillows and blankets. Bathroom have fresh towels and shampoo. Two bedrooms also have dedicated working spaces with high speed internet throughout the house. The deck has a three-burner Weber grill and cooking utensils. Patio dining include seating for six. There are Adirondack chairs available throughout the property for lounging. Backyard has an outdoor fire-pit and swing set. House is located on a quiet, private country road. There’s onsite parking for 3 cars. There are multiple peaceful trails within walking distance from the house. Dining options nearby include Trotwood Restaurant & Bar at Glen Falls House and the Crystal Brook Resort Mountain Brauhaus (seasonal). Nearby supermarket and pharmacy available in Cairo. With a short drive, there are lots of restaurants and shops located in Catskill, Hudson, Wyndham and Hunter. We will share a code with you prior to your arrival in order to access the smart lock. Round Top is a small hamlet in Greene County. There are a handful of established seasonal resorts in the area that offer services to guests including dining, events and pop ups. If you’re traveling via the Metro North, the nearest train station is Hudson. Expect to see animals on the property including birds, chipmunks deers, turkeys and other forest dwellers.
